Blogger Setup
How to set up your blog and how to publish blogs? I’m not really in the business of blogging, I’m a full-time word processor guy, that being said, just another hobby of mine. But for now, let’s stick with blogging.
Consider your first blog post as the most important post ever. You want to maximize your mileage.
You have an idea of how you want your blog to look like, which is, of course, a great place to start. But what you want is for it to look as much like your website. This requires a few tricks in your blogging tool, such as:
To look beautiful on mobile devices, mobile links are a must. Having a header photo, an image of the blog itself is a must. Adding videos would also be awesome, if you can find one that doesn’t annoy the hell out of people, maybe add them to your landing page, have your blog featured on it? The possibilities are endless.
Regardless of if you can get a welcome video to show your readers your blog, ensure that your introduction begins with the word “this.” Add all that info to your introduction. Don’t forget that some of the more interesting components of your site, such as the recommendations system that you’re displaying on the dropdown menu, should be most prominent.
This blog post will begin with a great visual because that’s how blogging works. I’ll discuss some of the tricks you can use to add more visual value to your blog, as well as avoid the visual crashes we talked about in our last blog post.
Blogger Setting
In 2018, dear friend, popular blogger, and all-around adventurous eater, Ellie Laine converted to the biggest party venue in London, The G-Star. From a bathroom-shaped radio station to the incredible production team, a massive celebrity kitchen, and an exhaustive menu, an incredible opportunity to be creatively surfaced.
Using their email addresses, Ellie had this opportunity to chat with the team backstage and curate a food-driven night that seemed at odds with their normal sources of entertainment. A guidebook with an average of 2 weeks' worth of the menu to be curated then started being mailed to people right away. Ellie had the idea to write about their favorite dishes as she recanted to each of them that she had been dreaming of turning up during the party! Later, I heard the foodie community saw this a little strange because of who I was writing about!
Enough “what-if” pondering and let’s dive headfirst into the trial and error process in all of this while trying to cook like one of the hottest foodies in the world! Lucky for us, Ellie Laine is more than up to the task (well sort of)! I will not be going fully blind to what is possible, and if you don’t believe me, go check out her blog for her blog on the matter.
Choosing The Final Menu
At this point, Ellie had chosen her recipe for this meal and had signed a contract with the production team but did not use any of the food. She had also gone out to buy all of the food which will be pictured below. Have fun, you two. This was the REAL FINAL DATE!
Making The Food
We have to pause on this one. I think Ellie had taken wine in this picture that you see below. I didn’t stop there. She completely skipped the cold. She then went out to eat lunch with her makeup team in London. She rented a room overnight. She called the party due to be meeting up with each of the chefs in every capacity of these photos. They emailed her when she was working with each of them and said that she would be edited in the morning. She handed this picture of her reheating food from last night to her team and they can’t wait to taste it all together.
We’ll add a photo below of the piece of the cake that I got from Elliot’s after Ellie told her about her night! She told me how much fun she was having and that she was opening up about this because she felt like she might not have done this in her usual situation and that there was a type of pressure associated with this night to hit it off. This is a headline that she wrote about the day of, January 5th, as well.
Photography
It looks like she was a lot of fun! Over the weekend, she had posted the photos above on her Youtube page and a number of them have been viewed 20k times, so she just worked hard! That’s a lot for what was a casual party in a huge room. She put in her best effort with the lighting on Monday night. She asked for the famous French strawberries, breakfast devilled eggs, morsels of cheese, and there’s a salad bowl from Elliot!
Based on pictures and reviews, it’s going to become a major hit. If you like to eat, Ellie is a person to watch! She has the personality and style that will not be found at a typical party. If you are also a foodie and looking for a place you can eat amazing food for under 10k, be sure to check out Ellie’s blog at the link below.
I hope Ellie loves this picture because if she doesn’t, then I hate her!
